XPACE-1009 is an investigational mRNA-based therapeutic being developed by Xanadu Bio for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). The drug utilizes Xanadu Bio's proprietary PACE (poly(amine-co-ester)) polymer nanoparticle platform to deliver mRNA encoding Interleukin-2 (IL-2) and Interleukin-12 (IL-12) specifically to lung tissue. By inducing the local expression of these potent cytokines, XPACE-1009 is designed to modulate the tumor microenvironment and stimulate a robust anti-tumor immune response. It is currently in the IND-enabling/preclinical stage of development, with the PACE platform allowing for potential systemic or local administration routes tailored for organ-specific targeting.
