Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XPACE-2001 is a preclinical prophylactic mRNA vaccine candidate targeting the SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) protein for the prevention of COVID-19, developed by Xanadu Bio.[4] As an mRNA vaccine, it is designed to deliver nucleoside-encoded instructions for host cells to produce the viral spike antigen, thereby inducing neutralizing antibody and cellular immune responses against SARS-CoV-2.[1][4] The program is positioned within Xanadu Bio’s infectious disease pipeline and has not yet entered clinical development.[4]
