Overview

XPO is a topical treatment composed of xyloglucan, pea proteins, and *Opuntia ficus-indica* extracts. It is being investigated for the treatment of mild-to-moderate plaque psoriasis. Clinical studies have shown that XPO significantly reduces disease severity, erythema, itching, induration, and scaling, demonstrating similar efficacy and an excellent tolerability profile compared to calcipotriol/betamethasone ointment.
