Overview
XS005 is an investigative natural killer (NK) cell therapy being developed by Dushu Lake Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University for the treatment of primary glioblastoma (GBM). As a cell-based immunotherapy, XS005 leverages the innate cytotoxic capabilities of NK cells to target and eliminate malignant tumor cells. The therapy is administered as an injection and is typically evaluated in combination with the standard-of-care Stupp regimen, which includes adjuvant temozolomide chemotherapy. Clinical development has focused on assessing the safety, maximum tolerated dose, and preliminary efficacy of multiple XS005 infusions in patients with newly diagnosed glioblastoma.
