Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XS025 is an amorphous, non-crystalline formulation of cabozantinib developed by Xspray Pharma using its proprietary HyNap platform. As a multi-kinase inhibitor, it targets MET, VEGFR2, and RET, which are critical drivers in tumor angiogenesis and progression. The HyNap technology is employed to create a stable amorphous version of the drug substance, aiming to improve the pharmacokinetic profile and solubility compared to the crystalline form found in the reference product, Cabometyx. XS025 is currently being developed for the treatment of renal cell carcinoma and other solid tumors, with the developer preparing to advance the candidate into clinical studies.
