XS411CN is a human allogeneic induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived dopaminergic neural progenitor cell therapy being developed by XellSmart for the treatment of primary Parkinson's disease via stereotactic brain transplantation.[1][10][12] The product is an off-the-shelf, universal cell injection intended to replace degenerated nigrostriatal dopaminergic neurons and restore dopamine signaling in the striatum, thereby improving motor and non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease.[1][5][10] Early clinical experience with related XS411 cells in China has shown favorable safety and signals of efficacy, and XS411/XS411CN has been cleared by the U.S. FDA and China's NMPA for Phase I clinical trials in Parkinson's disease.[1][5][10][12]
