Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XTR020 is an innovative radiopharmaceutical developed by Sinotau Pharmaceutical Group for the diagnostic imaging of prostate cancer. It is a positron emission tomography (PET) tracer labeled with Fluorine-18 (18F) that specifically targets prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), a cell-surface protein that is significantly overexpressed in prostate cancer cells compared to normal tissues. By binding to PSMA, XTR020 allows for the high-resolution detection and staging of primary and metastatic prostate cancer lesions. As of early 2024, the drug has completed the enrollment and dosing of subjects in a Phase III clinical study in China, making it a late-stage candidate in Sinotau's oncology imaging pipeline.
