Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XTX201 is a protein-engineered interleukin-2 (IL-2) agonist immunotherapy being developed by Xilio Therapeutics for the treatment of cancer. It is designed using Xilio’s tumor-activation platform to achieve tumor-selective IL-2 pathway agonism, aiming to activate anti-tumor effector immune cells within the tumor microenvironment while minimizing systemic IL-2–associated toxicities seen with high-dose aldesleukin. Preclinical data have shown tumor-selective activity and an improved therapeutic index in comparison with conventional IL-2, supporting its development as a next-generation IL-2 replacement and immunostimulant in oncology.[1][5][9][13]
