Xuanfei Jiejing Zhike Fang is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by Wangjing Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of post-viral cough. The formula is designed to diffuse the lung (Xuanfei), relieve spasms (Jiejing), and suppress cough (Zhike), addressing the persistent airway hyperresponsiveness and qi stagnation often observed following respiratory virus infections. It is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in China to establish its efficacy and safety profile compared to placebo in patients suffering from subacute cough after viral infections.
