Overview
Xuanfu Daizhe Tang is a classical traditional Chinese medicinal prescription that has been widely used for hundreds of years to treat various digestive system illnesses, including reflux esophagitis, chronic gastritis, gastric ulcers, and hiccups. Research indicates that it alleviates reflux esophagitis by modulating the STAT1/TREM-1 pathway, inhibiting inflammatory responses, and decreasing levels of inflammatory cytokines. It also inhibits the expression of Claudin-4 and Claudin-5 and promotes the polarization of macrophages towards the M2 phenotype. Traditionally, it is understood to descend adverse Qi, dissolve phlegm, boost Qi, and harmonize the stomach.
