Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xuefu Zhuyu Wan is a classic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) patent herbal formula widely used to promote blood circulation, resolve blood stasis, and regulate Qi flow. It is traditionally indicated for conditions associated with blood stasis in the chest, which can manifest as chest pain, headache, palpitations, insomnia, and mood instability. The formula is composed of eleven herbs: Bupleurum chinense (Chaihu), Angelica sinensis (Danggui), Rehmannia glutinosa (Dihuang), Paeonia lactiflora (Chishao), Carthamus tinctorius (Honghua), Prunus persica (Taoren), Citrus aurantium (Zhike), Glycyrrhiza uralensis (Gancao), Ligusticum chuanxiong (Chuanxiong), Achyranthes bidentata (Niuxi), and Platycodon grandiflorus (Jiegeng). In clinical trials, it has been evaluated for its potential to prevent the transition from a healthy state to suboptimal health in individuals with unbalanced TCM constitutions.
