Xuening tablet is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) derived from an extract of silkworm feces. Its primary active components are sodium iron chlorophyllin and chlorophyll derivatives. It is indicated for the treatment of iron deficiency anemia, particularly in cases characterized by a deficiency of both qi and blood according to TCM principles. The drug works by promoting red blood cell production, increasing hemoglobin levels, and supplementing iron.
