Xuhanting is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used in pediatrics for the treatment of sweat syndrome (diaphoresis) and recurrent respiratory tract infections associated with Qi-Yin deficiency. The formulation is designed to tonify Qi, nourish Yin, and astringe sweat. Common ingredients in Xuhanting preparations include *Radix Astragali* (Huangqi), *Ostraea Gigas* (Muli), *Radix Oryzae Glutinosae* (Nuodaogen), *Fructus Jujubae* (Dazao), and *Radix et Rhizoma Ephedrae* (Mahuanggen). It is widely used in China to manage spontaneous and night sweating in children and has been the subject of multicenter prospective cohort studies to evaluate its efficacy in real-world medical environments.
