Overview

XYA02 is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed to target MUC1-C (Mucin-1 C-terminal subunit), a protein overexpressed in various cancers. The drug is designed with a highly potent cytotoxic payload and demonstrates strong anti-tumor activity in preclinical models. XYA02 acts as a MUC1 inhibitor by binding to the MUC1-C target on cancer cells, leading to selective delivery of its cytotoxic agent and subsequent cell death. It has shown approximately 10-fold greater potency than related ADCs in relapsed/refractory metastatic colorectal cancer (R/R-mCRC) and about 12-fold higher potency in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The primary indication under investigation for XYA02 is relapsed/refractory metastatic colorectal cancer. The developer of this drug is XYone Therapeutics.
