XYF-13 is an autologous CAR-T cell therapy under development for the treatment of recurrent glioblastoma. The therapy consists of T cells that are genetically modified to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting HPK1 (hematopoietic progenitor kinase 1). By inhibiting HPK1, which is involved in negative regulation of T-cell receptor signaling, XYF-13 aims to enhance anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is being developed by Xi'an Yufan Biotechnologies and has reached Phase 1 clinical trials in China for glioblastoma[1][2][4].
