XYL-4001, formerly known as PSYLO-4001, is an investigational non-hallucinogenic serotonin 5-HT2A receptor agonist and psychoplastogen. It is currently under development for the treatment of depressive disorders, including major depressive disorder. The drug is being developed by Xylo Bio (formerly Psylo) and was in the preclinical research stage as of January 2025. Its chemical structure has not yet been disclosed.
