Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Xyosted (formerly known as QuickShot Testosterone or QST) is a drug-device combination product that delivers testosterone enanthate via a proprietary subcutaneous auto-injector. It is indicated for testosterone replacement therapy in adult men with primary hypogonadism or hypogonadotropic hypogonadism. The device allows for rapid and virtually painless self-administration of highly viscous drugs like testosterone enanthate through a fine-gauge needle using high spring pressure. This method avoids the risk of transference seen with topical gels and the discomfort associated with deep intramuscular injections. Clinical studies demonstrated that weekly subcutaneous administration provides physiologically normal and steady concentrations of testosterone over time[1][5][6].
