Drug intelligence / Profile preview
XZB-0004 is a novel and potent small molecule inhibitor of the AXL receptor tyrosine kinase, developed by Xuanzhu Biopharmaceutical, a subsidiary of Sihuan Pharmaceutical. AXL signaling is implicated in tumor progression, survival, and the development of resistance to chemotherapy and targeted therapies. By inhibiting AXL, XZB-0004 aims to disrupt these pathways, particularly in hematologic malignancies and certain solid tumors. It is currently undergoing Phase I clinical evaluation for relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), as well as in patients with advanced solid tumors including non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
