Overview

XZP-5955 is an orally available small molecule dual inhibitor targeting the receptor tyrosine kinase c-ros oncogene 1 (ROS1) and tropomyosin-related kinase (TRK) family proteins. It is being developed for the treatment of patients with locally advanced or metastatic solid tumors harboring NTRK or ROS1 gene fusions, including non-small cell lung cancer. The drug acts by inhibiting both TRK and ROS1 signaling pathways that are implicated in tumor growth and survival. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and efficacy in these patient populations[1][2][3][4][5].
