Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Y GUT sensitive is a postbiotic and prebiotic dietary supplement developed by veMico Ltd. to support gut health and metabolic function. The formulation, often referred to as YMETA in clinical research, consists of 60% galacto-oligosaccharides (GOS), 8% exopolysaccharides (EPS) derived from *Bifidobacterium breve* 091109, and 32% konjac glucomannan (KGM). The GOS component is specifically synthesized using β-galactosidase from the same *Bifidobacterium* strain. Y GUT sensitive is designed to strengthen the intestinal barrier, nourish beneficial gut bacteria, and modulate immune responses. It has been clinically investigated for its efficacy in alleviating digestive discomfort and improving metabolic markers, such as insulin resistance and systemic inflammation, particularly in individuals with prediabetes.
