Overview

Y-ST02-PRIT is a preclinical-stage radiopharmaceutical candidate developed by Y-mAbs Therapeutics using the proprietary Self-Assembling Dis-Assembling (SADA) pre-targeted radioimmunotherapy (PRIT) platform. The SADA technology utilizes a bispecific protein construct that self-assembles into a stable tetramer to bind with high affinity to a specific tumor antigen (currently undisclosed for this program) in prostate cancer. A key feature of the SADA platform is that the tetramers eventually disassemble into smaller monomers that are rapidly cleared from the bloodstream by the kidneys. Once the pre-targeting agent has cleared from non-target tissues, a small-molecule radioactive payload (typically a DOTA-chelated isotope) is administered. This payload binds specifically to the SADA protein already localized at the tumor site, allowing for high-dose radiation delivery to the cancer cells while significantly reducing off-target exposure to healthy organs like the bone marrow and kidneys.
