Overview
Yam Huatan Decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by researchers at Wangjing Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is primarily investigated for the treatment of severe pneumonia in elderly patients. The decoction is designed based on TCM principles to tonify the spleen and lungs while resolving phlegm (Huatan).
