Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yangyin Shuxin (also known as Yangyin Shuxin prescription or decoction) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is primarily investigated for the treatment of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Based on TCM principles, the formula is designed to nourish Yin (Yangyin) and soothe the heart (Shuxin) to address the underlying pathophysiology of cardiac dysfunction. In clinical research, it is typically evaluated as an adjunctive therapy to standard Western medical treatments, with the goal of improving cardiac remodeling, exercise tolerance, and clinical symptoms in patients with HFpEF.
