Yangzheng Compound Mixture

Yangzheng Compound Mixture is a traditional Chinese medicine oral liquid manufactured by Shaanxi Buchang Pharmaceutical. It is a compound formulation containing extracts from multiple herbs, including Red Ginseng (Ginseng Rubra Radix), Astragali Radix, Lycii Fructus, Ligustri Lucidi Fructus, Polyporus Umbellatus, and Poria. [1, 9] Primarily used as an adjuvant therapy for cancer patients, particularly those undergoing chemotherapy, it addresses symptoms associated with Qi-Yin deficiency, such as fatigue, and helps manage side effects like leukopenia (low white blood cell count). [2, 4] Scientific studies suggest that the mixture possesses immunomodulatory and anti-tumor properties. [6, 8] In-vitro research has shown that its components can inhibit cancer cell proliferation, arrest the cell cycle, and impair cell migration.
