Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yantiao Formula (YTF) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) multi-herb formulation used primarily for the treatment of sepsis and related inflammatory conditions. The formula typically includes peach kernel, mirabilite, Angelica sinensis, Radix Scrophulariae, raw rhubarb, Radix Paeoniae, Flos Lonicerae, Forsythia, and Ophiopogon japonicus. Preclinical studies demonstrate that YTF exerts anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the p38MAPK pathway and reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α and IL-6. It also modulates macrophage polarization (shifting from M1 to M2 phenotype), thereby attenuating acute lung injury induced by sepsis. Network pharmacology analyses indicate that its mechanisms involve multiple targets and pathways related to inflammation regulation and immune response[1][5][7].
