YB-200 is a novel investigational IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecules CEACAM1 and CEACAM5, developed by Ymmunobio for the treatment of solid tumors, with a primary focus on hepatocellular carcinoma. It belongs to a new class of CEACAM antibodies with dual functionality: it acts as an immune checkpoint inhibitor by blocking inhibitory CEACAM signaling while simultaneously exerting a direct immune agonistic effect on immune cells, thereby enhancing antitumor immunity.[1][3][4][7][9][10] Preclinical data in a syngeneic liver cancer model showed significant tumor growth inhibition, increased intratumoral B cells, and elevated CD3+ and CD4+ T-cell infiltration, providing the rationale for its further development in liver cancer and other CEACAM-expressing malignancies.[1][4][7][9][10] The US FDA has granted orphan drug designation to YB-200 for hepatocellular carcinoma, and it remains in preclinical development.[1][4][10]
