Overview

YBioA4002 is a biosimilar candidate of bevacizumab, a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). Developed by Yerlika Biopharma, it is designed to inhibit tumor angiogenesis, thereby suppressing the growth and metastasis of various malignancies. The drug is intended for the treatment of several types of cancer, including colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and renal cell carcinoma. As of early 2026, YBioA4002 is in the NDA/BLA stage in Turkey, with validation batches of both the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and finished product completed, and a dossier submission that occurred in 2025.
