Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YBL-011 is a monoclonal antibody developed by YBiologics that functions as an immune checkpoint inhibitor targeting LAG-3 (Lymphocyte activation gene 3 protein). LAG-3 is expressed on activated T cells and regulatory T cells (Tregs), where it inhibits T cell activation by binding to MHC class II molecules or LSECtin on antigen-presenting cells (APCs) or cancer cells. By blocking this interaction, YBL-011 enhances T cell activity and suppresses the immunosuppressive function of Tregs, thereby promoting anti-tumor immune responses. The drug is being developed for the treatment of solid tumors and other neoplasms. As of May 2025, its highest development status is preclinical[1][2][6][10].
