YBSW015 is a monomolecular bispecific antibody developed to target severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the virus responsible for COVID-19. It is designed by combining two high-affinity parental monoclonal antibodies, enabling it to bind simultaneously to distinct epitopes on the viral spike protein. This dual targeting approach aims to enhance neutralization potency and reduce the likelihood of viral escape mutations. The drug has been evaluated in phase Ia clinical studies for its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity in healthy subjects[1][2][7].
