Yeastvite is a traditional over-the-counter stimulant and tonic formulation primarily marketed in the United Kingdom for the relief of fatigue and tiredness. The product's primary active ingredient is caffeine, a methylxanthine that functions as a non-selective adenosine receptor antagonist, thereby promoting wakefulness and cognitive alertness. This stimulant effect is complemented by a complex of B vitamins, including thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), and niacin (B3), which serve as essential cofactors in the cellular metabolic pathways responsible for energy production.
