Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YF087 is a potent and selective small molecule inhibitor of Werner syndrome ATP-dependent helicase (WRN) being developed by InventisBio for the treatment of microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) and mismatch repair-deficient (dMMR) cancers. The drug targets the WRN helicase, which is essential for the survival of MSI-H cancer cells, representing a synthetic lethal approach to oncology treatment. Preclinical studies have demonstrated high selectivity for MSI-H cells over microsatellite stable (MSS) cells and significant tumor regression in xenograft models of colorectal, gastric, endometrial, and ovarian cancers following oral administration.
