Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YG501 is an investigational immune cell therapy consisting of invariant Natural Killer T (iNKT) cells, also referred to as W-iNKT, developed by Wingor Biotechnology. It is designed for the treatment of gastrointestinal tumors, including esophageal, gastric, and colorectal cancers. iNKT cells represent a unique lineage of T cells that share properties of both T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, allowing them to mount potent anti-tumor immune responses. YG501 is currently in preclinical development, with investigator-initiated clinical trials (IIT) underway in China to evaluate its safety and efficacy as an adjuvant therapy.
