Overview

YH-200 (Anyupeibo) is a novel small molecule triple reuptake inhibitor (SNDRI) being developed by Suzhou Yihua Biomedical Technology for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD). It is designed to simultaneously inhibit the reuptake of serotonin (5-HT), norepinephrine (NE), and dopamine (DA) in the synaptic cleft. By modulating all three major monoamine neurotransmitters, YH-200 aims to provide superior efficacy, particularly for symptoms like anhedonia and fatigue, and potentially a faster onset of action compared to traditional selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) or serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs). The drug is currently in Phase 2 clinical development in China, following successful Phase 1 trials that demonstrated favorable safety and tolerability profiles.
