YH001

YH001 is a code name identifying two distinct clinical-stage therapeutic assets. The first is a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody targeting Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Associated Protein 4 (CTLA-4), developed by Biocytogen and its subsidiary Eucure Biopharma. This agent acts as a checkpoint inhibitor, blocking the inhibitory interaction between CTLA-4 and its ligands (CD80/CD86) to enhance T-cell activation and potentially depleting regulatory T cells (Tregs) via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). It is being evaluated in Phase 1 and Phase 2 trials for various oncology indications, including soft tissue sarcoma and metastatic solid tumors, often in combination with PD-(L)1 inhibitors or as part of Syncromune's Syncrovax intratumoral platform. The second YH001 is an oral small-molecule capsule developed by Hangzhou Yuhong Pharmaceutical Technology, which is currently in Phase 2 clinical trials for the treatment of severe alopecia areata.
