It serves as the antibody component in the antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) **RC118 (YH005-ADC)**, which has advanced to **Phase 2 clinical trials** for oncology indications. Developed initially by **Biocytogen Pharmaceuticals**, it was out-licensed to **RemeGen** for ADC development following successful preclinical studies using Claudin 18.2 knock-out mice.
