Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**YH23537** is an orally administered, process-optimized botanical combination developed by Yuhan. It contains extracts of Notoginseng Radix and Rehmanniae Radix Preparata and was designed to retain the chemical profile of YH14642 while improving extraction efficiency. Its pharmacology is characterized as anti-inflammatory: in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated human gingival fibroblasts, YH23537 reduced interleukin-6 and interleukin-8 secretion, but its direct molecular target or targets have not been established. It has completed Phase II studies in chronic periodontitis and knee osteoarthritis. ([pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov](https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10163972/))
