Overview
YH23537 is an oral botanical extract combination developed by Yuhan for inflammatory and degenerative conditions, principally chronic periodontitis and knee osteoarthritis. It is a process-optimized extract combination of Notoginseng Radix and Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, developed to retain the chemical profile of the earlier YH14642 product while improving extraction efficiency. In preclinical periodontal and osteoarthritis models, YH23537 showed anti-inflammatory and cartilage-protective activity, including reduced inflammatory cytokine production and suppression of disease-associated catabolic pathways; however, no single direct molecular target has been established.
