YH4808 + amoxicillin

YH4808 + amoxicillin is a combination of two drugs: **YH4808**, a novel potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB), and **amoxicillin**, a broad-spectrum beta-lactam antibiotic. This combination has been studied as part of triple therapy regimens for infections caused by *Helicobacter pylori*, a major cause of peptic ulcers and gastritis. YH4808 reduces gastric acid secretion by competitively inhibiting the potassium-binding site of gastric H,K-ATPase, distinct from traditional proton pump inhibitors. Amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins, leading to cell lysis.
