YHB1411-2 is a recombinant humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody developed by Yuhan Corporation. It targets and inhibits tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), a cytokine involved in systemic inflammation and implicated in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. The drug was designed to neutralize TNF-α activity similarly to other TNF inhibitors like infliximab and etanercept, protecting cells from TNF-induced cytotoxicity and mitigating disease progression in preclinical models. Clinical development reached phase I for rheumatoid arthritis but has not advanced further or received regulatory approval[1][6][5].
