Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YHhu3792 (also known as Yhhu-3792) is a novel, small-molecule Notch signaling pathway activator (specifically targeting NOTCH1) originally developed by the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica. It enhances the self-renewal capability of neural stem cells (NSCs) both in vitro and in vivo, promoting endogenous neurogenesis in the hippocampal dentate gyrus and improving spatial and episodic memory in animal models. Consequently, YHhu3792 is being investigated for its therapeutic potential in neurodegenerative disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease, and for neural regeneration following brain injury. Additionally, recent preclinical research has demonstrated that YHhu3792 possesses osteoinductive activity, stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of osteoblasts, which highlights its potential application in bone regeneration and fracture healing therapies.
