Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YHK803 is a bispecific monoclonal antibody developed by Chengdu Yuanhengkang Biotech for the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD). It is designed to simultaneously neutralize vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2), two synergistic drivers of pathological angiogenesis and vascular instability in the retina. By dual inhibition, YHK803 aims to improve visual outcomes and extend treatment durability compared to existing anti-VEGF monotherapies. The drug is administered via intravitreal injection and is currently undergoing a Phase 1 dose-escalation clinical trial (ChiCTR2500111581) to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy in patients with nAMD.
