Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YHP2508A is an oral, fixed-dose combination (FDC) therapy developed by Yuhan Corporation for the treatment of hypertension. It is a new formulation of Yuhan's approved three-drug combination product, Truset, which contains the calcium channel blocker amlodipine, the angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) telmisartan, and the thiazide-like diuretic chlorthalidone. YHP2508A is designed to improve patient compliance and therapeutic efficacy by combining three complementary mechanisms of action into a single tablet. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, with bioequivalence studies being conducted in healthy subjects to compare it against reference formulations.
