Overview
Yiqi Sanju Decoction (YQSJD) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, affiliated with the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is specifically formulated to treat metabolic syndrome and its associated components, particularly hypertension and insulin resistance. The decoction's pharmacological profile involves the activation of the SIRT1/AMPK signaling pathway, which enhances energy metabolism and improves glucose and lipid profiles.
