Yi Qi Yang Yin Decoction

Yi Qi Yang Yin Decoction (YQYY) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula, not a conventional single-molecule pharmaceutical. As a complex botanical mixture, its formulation can vary, but specific compositions have been described for clinical use. For instance, one version consists of nine herbs, including Radix Astragali and Radix Ginseng, while another variant, Yiqi Yangyin Jiedu Decoction (YYJD), includes herbs like milkvetch root and spikemoss herb. Based on the TCM theory of treating Qi and Yin deficiency, YQYY is believed to act through multiple biological targets and pathways.
