Yi Qing capsule

Yi Qing capsule (益清胶囊) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hospital-made preparation developed by the Eye and ENT Hospital of Fudan University in Shanghai. It is specifically formulated to treat acute pharyngitis and other upper respiratory conditions associated with toxic heat syndrome, a TCM diagnostic category characterized by inflammation, fever, and localized swelling. The preparation is composed of several herbal ingredients known for their anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and heat-clearing properties, including *Isatis tinctoria* (Ban Lan Gen) and *Taraxacum* (Pu Gong Ying).
