Overview

Yi Wei Huang Qi Decoction is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation primarily composed of Huang qi (Astragalus membranaceus). It is currently being investigated in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial for its efficacy and safety in treating Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque Ulcer. Huang qi, the main ingredient, is known for its diverse pharmacological effects, including anti-oxidative stress, anti-inflammatory, immunoregulatory, and vascular protective properties.
