Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YIC is a therapeutic vaccine for chronic hepatitis B, composed of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) and hepatitis B immunoglobulin (HBIG) in an immune complex. Often yeast-derived, it aims to break immune tolerance to HBV by modulating viral antigen processing and presentation, thereby stimulating the host's immune response against the virus.
