Overview
Yifei Qinghua is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used for the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases and as an adjuvant therapy for lung cancer. The formulation is designed to tonify lung qi and clear heat-toxins, which are central concepts in TCM for managing inflammatory and neoplastic conditions of the respiratory system. It typically consists of a complex blend of botanical extracts, including *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi) and *Panax ginseng* (Renshen), which are known for their immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory properties. In clinical practice, Yifei Qinghua is employed to improve the quality of life and immune function in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) undergoing chemotherapy, as well as to manage symptoms in patients with clinically stable bronchiectasis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
