Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yifei Qinghua granule is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed for the treatment of respiratory diseases, including clinically stable bronchiectasis and advanced lung cancer. Originally developed under the name Feiliuping during China's national research projects, it was later renamed upon approval for listing. The formulation consists of a complex mixture of herbs including Astragalus, Codonopsis, Glehnia littoralis, Ophiopogon, Agrimonia, Patriniaceae, Oldenlandia diffusa, Fritillaria, Aster, Platycodon, bitter almond, and licorice. In clinical practice, it is specifically indicated for patients presenting with the TCM syndrome of 'Qi and Yin deficiency of the lung and phlegm-heat obstructing the lung.' Research indicates that its therapeutic activity may be related to the modulation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and various inflammatory pathways.
