Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yifeiqinghuagao is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by Guang'anmen Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is primarily utilized as an adjuvant therapy for patients with stage IB–IIIA non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) following curative surgery. The formulation is prepared as a 'gao' (an oral herbal paste or concentrated extract). In clinical practice and real-world interventional studies, it is evaluated for its potential to improve disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS). According to TCM principles, the formulation is designed to benefit the lung, clear heat, and transform phlegm, thereby addressing the underlying 'deficiency' and 'pathological factors' associated with lung cancer recurrence and metastasis.
