Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Yiganxin is an oral granule formulation combining glycyrrhizin (glycyrrhizic acid) and zinc, developed and marketed by Wit Dyne Health (Shandong Wit Dyne Health Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.). It is indicated for liver protection and supportive therapy in patients with various liver diseases. Glycyrrhizin, a triterpenoid saponin derived from licorice root, exerts hepatoprotective effects through anti-inflammatory and antioxidant mechanisms, including the modulation of NF-κB and TLR4 signaling pathways. Zinc is an essential trace element that serves as a cofactor for antioxidant enzyme systems, such as superoxide dismutase, and helps maintain the integrity of hepatocyte membranes. The product is approved in China and is often used as a supportive treatment to reduce liver inflammation and promote tissue repair.
